In the unlikely event that a tooth is knocked-out, place the tooth back into the socket immediately after the accident. This can be done if you are sure that the whole tooth was knocked-out and that there are no broken pieces of tooth left in the socket. See your dentist RIGHT AWAY.

An alternate option is to rinse the tooth with warm water, but DO NOT SCRUB IT, and place it in a container with cold milk. If milk is not available, spit on your tooth to cover it with your own saliva and take it with you to your dentist RIGHT AWAY. If you can get to your dentist within 10 minutes from the time of the accident, there is a fair chance that the tooth will take root again.
