Dr. Luke is the owner and main dentist practitioner of Hanover Dental which he bought in 2008. He quickly grew the practice from 4 dental chairs on 333 Reimer Avenue to the current 12 dental chairs in Clearspring Centre. He always had a vision for a modern and technologically advanced dental practice in Steinbach and this has since come to be.
As a business owner, Dr. Luke was recognized by the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce in 2012 as the Future Leader and in 2015 was awarded the Small Business of the Year distinction. Dr. Luke began his career in Steinbach after attending the University of Manitoba for his undergraduate and his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree where he was on the dean’s list, class president, and achieved top third status in his class.
In 2010 Dr. Luke completed his Comprehensive Implant Training, including Dental Implant Surgery and Treatment Planning & Prosthetics. In conjunction with this program, Dr. Luke completed the Bone Grafting program, including Allografts, Auto Grafts, and Sinus Elevations. Since then, in 2014 Dr. Luke furthered his skill set in implant dentistry by attending the MISCH International Implant Institute. At this institution he completed the Patient Evaluation & Treatment Planning, Root Form Surgery Division A Bone, Membrane Grafting Division B Bone, and Sinus Graftings.
Dr. Luke is passionate about giving back to his community. After graduation he volunteered his dental skills for an outreach mission trip to the Dominican Republic. In Steinbach, Dr. Luke sat on the Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club board of directors for 4 years and he is the official dentist of the Steinbach Pistons Hockey Team.
Dr. Luke married his wife, Nadia, in July 2015 and they had their first child together in September 2016. Dr. Luke is a devoted father to his sons, Noah and Eli, and when he’s not practicing dentistry, you can find him working on his golf swing, playing hockey, or enjoying a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey game.
